2025 Sporting Clay Tournament

Tournament Details

Ammo/Gun Information:

  •   EAR PROTECTION AND EYE PROTECTION ARE REQUIRED to play in the tournament.  There will be someone checking to ensure everyone has the proper protection.  The shooting range has eye/ear protection available for purchase in their store.

  • AMMO: Shooters must provide their ammo for the tournament.  Ammo sizes allowed are in the attached Shotgun rules sheet (please review).  With 5 stand warm up/tournament, the range recommends 150-175 shots a person.  The range has limited ammo supply available for purchase. 

  • SHOTGUNS: Shotgun size allowed at the range are 12 gauge and under.  10 Gauge is not allowed. 

 

Tournament Information:

  • Address of the range: Bay County Shooting Range - 10900 Steel Field Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413

  • Your team will be assigned to the Morning Flight or Afternoon Flight.

Check In for the morning flight time begins 7:30am until 8:15am.  Check in for the afternoon flight begins at 12pm -12:45pm.  Check in will happen under the branded Specialty Roofers tent.

  • All shooters must sign a waiver to participate.  If you are under the age of 18, your parent/guardian must sign a minor release form as well.

  • The tournament should take approx. 2.5-3 hours to complete.

  • GOLF CARTS – Each team will receive a 4-seater golf cart to navigate around the tournament field.

  • ALCOHOL/CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON PROPERTY. 

 

Additional Information:

  • SCORING – Teams will be responsible for collecting their own scores at each stand.  We are using the honor system for this process so please play fairly and be truthful with your scoring.  Everyone in the team will have their own scorecard.  Once your team has completed the tournament, you will turn in all 4 scorecards to the designated point person. 

  • LUNCH: Sports to Geaux will be on site starting at 10:30AM through lunch to serve up a delicious meal to anyone who wants to stick around and have lunch.  Lunch is not included in the tournament but can be purchased separately. 

  • WATER/SNACKS -  We will have a golf cart that will be rolling around the tournament field with snacks/water/soda during each flight.

  • RESTROOMS – There are restrooms located in the main building at the range and then there are porta potties located around the tournament field

  • DONATIONS – All proceeds from this event benefit Westonwood Ranch mission and programs.  Our programs serve teens and young adults with developmental differences and aim to prepare them for adulthood by providing life skills and job skills training.  If you wish to make an additional donation to our mission, you can do so at check in.
